October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

A recent investigative report published by Verizon found that about 43% of all cyber attacks target small to medium-size businesses. According to the National Cyber Security Alliance, 60% of small businesses are forced to close their doors less than six months after a cyberattack. Not only can fines and fees put you out of business, but the loss in customer trust is hard to recover from.
